A skincare brand has scooped up nine awards at the Free From Skincare Awards.
The awards spotlight products in Europe that are ‘free from’ certain ingredients, such as artificial ingredients or paraffin, or those that have ethical or environmental concerns.
Chalfont St Peter-based Life Happens Skin Rescue faced off against big names like Balmonds and Laponie of Scandinavia.

The company’s products aim to increase the range on offer for those with food and nut allergies.
They aim to nurture, nourish, and protect the delicate skin barrier where it has been compromised by conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, or through menopause, pregnancy, burns, or bites.

Four products from the Life Happens Skin Rescue range were submitted for testing and evaluation.
The brand’s skin relief and renewal body and scalp oil earned a Silver medal for its effectiveness in dealing with problem skin, while the brand as a whole bagged a Bronze for best free-from brand.
The brand’s products are handmade locally in small batches, using ethically sourced, premium quality oils and butters.
