Free from all harmful chemicals, this product is allergen, nut and skin irritant-free. It is a gentle, nourishing and protective barrier balm that is suitable for babies, children and adults and may help with conditions such as nappy rash, diarrhoea or incontinence irritation, bedsores, scaly and irritated skin or skin that needs a little protection. It is pure, clean, and concentrated as it is waterless. Smooth and easy to apply, with only a tiny amount needed, means it truly goes a long way. It softens when it comes into contact with the skin, making it easy to spread.

It may be more expensive than a popular chemically-laden baby barrier brand but the big difference is that this balm is concentrated (so no water or cheap fillers), it contains no allergens, skin irritants, parabens, petroleum, phthalates/harmful chemicals or preservatives, making it an ideal product to use on the delicate and sensitive skin of babies, and for those of all ages. The ingredients chosen help to heal and protect the skin barrier, help with inflammation and wound healing, and work to protect against microbes and oxidants. Zinc Oxide:-

is often used in the medical area as it assists and speeds up wound healing

Shea Butter (refined):-

It contains 5% zinc oxide which research has shown is sufficient to form a skin barrier. Zinc can sometimes be drying which is why this balm contains enough to be effective but not to dry delicate skin. It also contains nourishing and moisturising ingredients and ones that heal and soothe.

A higher zinc balm such as the Zinc & Camellia one contains 18% zinc and can be used when a stronger product is needed whether over a larger area or on small patches.
